After getting past the "Are you freaking kidding me?!" moment, and using them for only a few days, I was both amazed and thrilled with the overall improvement of my vision, along with decreased eye strain.
My right eye was really bothering me, especially when trying to binge-watch some shows that I occasionally get hooked on. Now, after only a week, I'm past the point of not being annoyingly distracted by the "trying to focus" discomfort, and hardly even think about it anymore (outside of remembering to keep at it so there are no relapses). Everything (including stamina) is steadily returning back to normal.
God bless the people that came up with this miraculous device!
Helpful Hints:
Make sure you're sitting down, or even relaxed in bed.
Allow yourself to get over that "WTH!" moment. (Pretend you're a Fly!) (ha-ha)
Especially at first, it's pretty difficult trying to type or read too much of anything, but see what works best for you. I usually prefer to watch something like an old show or anything that I'm familiar with and am aware of the outcome, or at least don't care much about seeing the details clearly. This is initially less frustrating and still leads to the same great results.
As an additional (optional) aid, practice rolling your eyes all around... left to right, up and down, then attempt to reengage your focus on whatever you're watching. Direct your 'line of sight' to a particular 'hole' to try and 'zero in' and do the best you can to 'capture' the image for a while, even hit the 'pause button' for a few seconds (if you'd like or can) to have a more 'gotcha' moment, then repeat the aforementioned.
For me, this added exercise seems to have had a more quickening effect.
Don't give up, and keep using them on a daily basis while continually wearing them for longer periods of time... up to an hour if you can handle it. Every extra minute counts and accrues even more benefits as each day passes. This is a crazy yet extremely ingenious invention. The Eye Doctors are probably some of the only ones who won't be giving it rave reviews.
P.S.
Speaking of which, I wrote this review while wearing them.
Bit of a challenge, eh mate?... Aye!
